I am called of God. My authority is above that of kings of the earth. By revelation I have been selected as a personal representative of the Lord Jesus Christ. He is my master and He has chosen me to represent Him--to stand in His place, to say and do what He Himself would say and do if He personally were ministering to the very people to whom He has sent me. My voice is His voice, and my acts are His acts; my doctrine is His doctrine. My Commission is to do what He wants done; To say what He wants said; to be a living modern witness in word and in deed of the divinity of his great and marvelous Latter-day work. How great is my calling! • My Missionary Commission • Elder Bruce R. McConkie •

LETTER: Elder Brayden Schneider • February 14th, 2011

so... that is good you guys are doing good! thanks for the letters.

SO this week was crazy. ON monday we had a lesson with a investigator that had known the missionaries for 15 years!!! hahaha and they missionaries just became friends with him for too long. Well we had a lesson with him, and were VERY VERY bold. It was actually one of the best lessons i have been on. He actually ended up coming to church this week to!!
ok so, my comp got super sick this week, something was wrong with his face/mouth, haha so we stayed in like 3 days cause he could hardly move cause his mouth hurt him so bad. So we went to the dentist hospital here, and now he is doing better, but things are still a little slow.

OK so we had some cool stuff happen this week though. We had the stop smoking class, and to be honest i was so nervous to teach the class cause its hard to prepare for something like that, but 6 people showed up and it was amazing.... we were really praying hard for language help and confidence. (cause we had never done something like that) ANd the program went good. Its a 15 step program for 7days (its a really strict program but works) and the people that participate have to stop smoking that night. Well... the first step of the program is that everyone there has to throw away every cigarett that they have. And this one 50 year old lady named IDA (she was kind of a angrier lady), was having a super hard time and actually cried cause she couldnt throw hers away (but she ended up getting the courage to do so). Also for the program you have to have a (friend) and that friend calls you twice a day with visits. And becasue i was the teacher i became IDAs friend. Well at the end of the class she talked to me and she really really trusts me! and she calls and checks up with me. Well she is loving the program, she and one other lady and still staying strong!!! And for one of the steps she has to pray, and she LOVES praying now. And now she is keeping the word of wisdom! (which is actually a step) Well she is doing great and she loves me! hahaha

This week was super good though!

i am doing good and love you guys!

ps... so i heard this week i wont be getting my visa cause the papers got lost.... hahaha of well if i get kicked out then i am walkin to bosnia! hahahaha :)
