I am called of God. My authority is above that of kings of the earth. By revelation I have been selected as a personal representative of the Lord Jesus Christ. He is my master and He has chosen me to represent Him--to stand in His place, to say and do what He Himself would say and do if He personally were ministering to the very people to whom He has sent me. My voice is His voice, and my acts are His acts; my doctrine is His doctrine. My Commission is to do what He wants done; To say what He wants said; to be a living modern witness in word and in deed of the divinity of his great and marvelous Latter-day work. How great is my calling! • My Missionary Commission • Elder Bruce R. McConkie •

LETTER: Elder Brayden Schneider • January 3rd, 2011

haha dad so for your question, yes, we had to come in early on new years eve, and the next day i dont think we saw 1 person cause they all decided to stay in as a result of their hangovers! haha
So being DL isnt too bad, cause we only have 5 people in our district!

ok so, yoga.... it wont work out, we talked to president and he said that some Slovenian people think that yoga is a faith, so we wouldnt want to teach a different faith in our church. haha which makes sense but it was still a good idea! so me and my comp have thought of some pretty crazy sweet ideas for how to interduce the gospel to people, not only thru contacting. We made a list of about 20 different ideas that i would be willing to bet no missionaries have tried! hahaha but they are good! We already tried one, well we got book of mormons (and we are trying to flood maribor with them) and so we asked a hotel if we could put them in thier waiting room, they agreed, also we tried in hair cutting places, they also agreed. So we have a whole book that we wanted to place them in stores where people would read them. And most bosses are really nice to us!

So new years was crazy, the city was light up with fireworks! haha and president aloud us to stay up till 12, but i almost didnt make it, hahaha i felt like an old man! haha but then at 12, i was wide awake.

So me and my comp do some really cool things, every day we have a holiday or an event that we have to do. Like one day we fast, and one day we have a do something nice for the sisters, one day we have a culture lunch (visit somewhere cool during our lunch time) and one day we clean the appartment for lunch! haha fun huh? haha but it gives a little spice in the day so we dont fall into a habbit of doing the same thing.

but you wanna hear a cool goal we have, we are planning for 8 baptisms in Maribor, (you probable think its crazy) but we figure if we want some pretty crazy good numbers then we have to do some pretty crazy things. I will keep you updated on the ideas of how we are going to find and teach 8 people this transfer!!!!

well love you, and hope all is good!!!
